About the Application

  • Welcome to Venews.app (the 'Application'). The Application informs consumers about venues (the 'Services').
  • The Application is operated by VENEWS AUSTRALIA PTY. LTD. (ABN 62 633 821 815) . Access to and use of the Application, or any of its associated Products or Services, is provided by Venews Australia. Please read these terms and conditions (the 'Terms') carefully. By using, browsing and/or reading the Application, this signifies that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Terms. If you do not agree with the Terms, you must cease usage of the Application, or any of its Services, immediately.
  • Venews Australia reserves the right to review and change any of the Terms by updating this page at its sole discretion. When Venews Australia updates the Terms, it will use reasonable endeavours to provide you with notice of updates to the Terms. Any changes to the Terms take immediate effect from the date of their publication. Before you continue, we recommend you keep a copy of the Terms for your records.

    Acceptance of the Terms

  • You accept the Terms by using or browsing the Application. You may also accept the Terms by clicking to accept or agree to the Terms if this option is made available to you by Venews Australia in the user interface.

    Registration to use the Services

  • In order to access the Services, you must first register for an account through the Application (the 'Account').
  • As part of the registration process, or as part of your continued use of the Services, you may be required to provide personal information about yourself (such as identification or contact details), including:
  • You warrant that any information you give to Venews Australia in the course of completing the registration process will always be accurate, correct and up to date.
  • Email address
  • Password
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Date of birth/Age
  • Gender
  • Once you have completed the registration process, you will be a registered member of the Application ('Member ') and agree to be bound by the Terms.
  • You may not use the Services and may not accept the Terms if:
  • you are not of legal age to form a binding contract with Venews Australia ; or
  • you are a person barred from receiving the Services under the laws of Australia or other countries including the country in which you are resident or from which you use the Services.

    Your obligations as a:

    Member

    As a Member, you agree to comply with the following:

  • you will use the Services only for purposes that are permitted by:
  • the Terms; and
  • any applicable law, regulation or generally accepted practices or guidelines in the relevant jurisdictions;
  • you have the sole responsibility for protecting the confidentiality of your password and/or email address. Use of your password by any other person may result in the immediate cancellation of the Services;
  • any use of your registration information by any other person, or third parties, is strictly prohibited. You agree to immediately notify Venews Australia of any unauthorised use of your password or email address or any breach of security of which you have become aware;
  • access and use of the Application is limited, non-transferable and allows for the sole use of the Application by you for the purposes of Venews Australia providing the Services;
  • you will not use the Services or the Application in connection with any commercial endeavours except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by the management of Venews Australia ;
  • you will not use the Services or Application for any illegal and/or unauthorised use which includes collecting email addresses of Members by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email or unauthorised framing of or linking to the Application;
  • you agree that commercial advertisements, affiliate links, and other forms of solicitation may be removed from the Application without notice and may result in termination of the Services. Appropriate legal action will be taken by Venews Australia for any illegal or unauthorised use of the Application; and
  • you acknowledge and agree that any automated use of the Application or its Services is prohibited.

    Copyright and Intellectual Property

  • The Application, the Services and all of the related products of Venews Australia are subject to copyright. The material on the Application is protected by copyright under the laws of Australia and through international treaties. Unless otherwise indicated, all rights (including copyright) in the Services and compilation of the Application (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, video images, audio clips, Application, code, scripts, design elements and interactive features) or the Services are owned or controlled for these purposes, and are reserved by Venews Australia or its contributors.
  • All trademarks, service marks and trade names are owned, registered and/or licensed by Venews Australia , who grants to you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license whilst you are a Member to:
  • use the Application pursuant to the Terms;
  • copy and store the Application and the material contained in the Application in your device's cache memory; and
  • print pages from the Application for your own personal and non-commercial use.
  • Venews Australia does not grant you any other rights whatsoever in relation to the Application or the Services. All other rights are expressly reserved by Venews Australia.
  • Venews Australia retains all rights, title and interest in and to the Application and all related Services. Nothing you do on or in relation to the Application will transfer any:
  • business name, trading name, domain name, trade mark, industrial design, patent, registered design or copyright, or
  • a right to use or exploit a business name, trading name, domain name, trade mark or industrial design, or
  • a thing, system or process that is the subject of a patent, registered design or copyright (or an adaptation or modification of such a thing, system or process), to you.
  • You may not, without the prior written permission of Venews Australia and the permission of any other relevant rights owners: broadcast, republish, up-load to a third party, transmit, post, distribute, show or play in public, adapt or change in any way the Services or third party Services for any purpose, unless otherwise provided by these Terms. This prohibition does not extend to materials on the Application, which are freely available for re-use or are in the public domain.
  • You grant us a licence to use it but we do not claim ownership of your content. We do not claim ownership of your content that you post on or through the Service and you are free to share your content with anyone else, wherever you choose. However, we need certain legal permissions from you (known as a "licence") to provide the Service. When you share, post or upload content that is covered by intellectual property rights (such as photos or videos) on or in connection with our Service, you hereby grant to us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide licence to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, translate and create derivative works of your content (consistent with your privacy and application settings). This licence will end when your content is deleted from our systems. You can delete content individually or all at once by deleting your account.

    Privacy

  • Venews Australia takes your privacy seriously and any information provided through your use of the Application and/or Services are subject to Venews Australia's Privacy Policy, which is available on the Application.

    General Disclaimer

  • Nothing in the Terms limits or excludes any guarantees, warranties, representations or conditions implied or imposed by law, including the Australian Consumer Law (or any liability under them) which by law may not be limited or excluded.
  • Subject to this clause, and to the extent permitted by law:
  • all terms, guarantees, warranties, representations or conditions which are not expressly stated in the Terms are excluded; and
  • Venews Australia will not be liable for any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage (unless such loss or damage is reasonably foreseeable resulting from our failure to meet an applicable Consumer Guarantee), loss of profit or opportunity, or damage to goodwill arising out of or in connection with the Services or these Terms (including as a result of not being able to use the Services or the late supply of the Services), whether at common law, under contract, tort (including negligence), in equity, pursuant to statute or otherwise.
  • Use of the Application and the Services is at your own risk. Everything on the Application and the Services is provided to you "as is" and "as available" without warranty or condition of any kind. None of the affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contributors and licensors of Venews Australia make any express or implied representation or warranty about the Services or any products or Services (including the products or Services of Venews Australia ) referred to on the Application. This includes (but is not restricted to) loss or damage you might suffer as a result of any of the following:
  • failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, failure to correct defects, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus or other harmful component, loss of data, communication line failure, unlawful third party conduct, or theft, destruction, alteration or unauthorised access to records;
  • the accuracy, suitability or currency of any information on the Application, the Services, or any of its Services related products (including third party material and advertisements on the Application);
  • costs incurred as a result of you using the Application, the Services or any of the products of Venews Australia ; and
  • the Services or operation in respect to links which are provided for your convenience.

    Competitors

  • If you are in the business of providing similar Services for the purpose of providing them to users for a commercial gain, whether business users or domestic users, then you are a competitor of Venews Australia . Competitors are not permitted to use or access any information or content on our Application. If you breach this provision, Venews Australia will hold you fully responsible for any loss that we may sustain and hold you accountable for all profits that you might make from such a breach.

    Limitation of liability

  • Venews Australia 's total liability arising out of or in connection with the Services or these Terms, however arising, including under contract, tort (including negligence), in equity, under statute or otherwise, will not exceed the resupply of the Services to you.
  • You expressly understand and agree that Venews Australia , its affiliates, employees, agents, contributors and licensors shall not be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special consequential or exemplary damages which may be incurred by you, however caused and under any theory of liability. This shall include, but is not limited to, any loss of profit (whether incurred directly or indirectly), any loss of goodwill or business reputation and any other intangible loss.

    Termination of Contract

    The Terms will continue to apply until terminated by either you or by Venews Australia as set out below.

    If you want to terminate the Terms, you may do so by:

  • closing your accounts for all of the services which you use, where Venews Australia has made this option available to you.

    Venews Australia may at any time, terminate the Terms with you if:

  • you have breached any provision of the Terms or intend to breach any provision;
  • Venews Australia is required to do so by law;
  • the provision of the Services to you by Venews Australia is, in the opinion of Venews Australia , no longer commercially viable.
  • Subject to local applicable laws, Venews Australia reserves the right to discontinue or cancel your membership at any time and may suspend or deny, in its sole discretion, your access to all or any portion of the Application or the Services without notice if you breach any provision of the Terms or any applicable law or if your conduct impacts Venews Australia 's name or reputation or violates the rights of those of another party.

    Indemnity

  • You agree to indemnify Venews Australia , its affiliates, employees, agents, contributors, third party content providers and licensors from and against:
  • all actions, suits, claims, demands, liabilities, costs, expenses, loss and damage (including legal fees on a full indemnity basis) incurred, suffered or arising out of or in connection with Your Content;
  • any direct or indirect consequences of you accessing, using or transacting on the Application or attempts to do so; and/or
  • any breach of the Terms.

    Dispute Resolution

  • Compulsory: If a dispute arises out of or relates to the Terms, either party may not commence any Tribunal or Court proceedings in relation to the dispute, unless the following clauses have been complied with (except where urgent interlocutory relief is sought).
  • Notice: A party to the Terms claiming a dispute ('Dispute') has arisen under the Terms, must give written notice to the other party detailing the nature of the dispute, the desired outcome and the action required to settle the Dispute.
  • Resolution: On receipt of that notice ('Notice') by that other party, the parties to the Terms
  • ('Parties') must:
  • Within 30 days of the Notice endeavour in good faith to resolve the Dispute expeditiously by negotiation or such other means upon which they may mutually agree;
  • If for any reason whatsoever, 30 days after the date of the Notice, the Dispute has not been resolved, the Parties must either agree upon selection of a mediator or request that an appropriate mediator be appointed by the President of the Australian Mediation Association or his or her nominee;
  • The Parties are equally liable for the fees and reasonable expenses of a mediator and the cost of the venue of the mediation and without limiting the foregoing undertake to pay any amounts requested by the mediator as a pre-condition to the mediation commencing. The Parties must each pay their own costs associated with the mediation;
  • The mediation will be held in , Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
  • Confidential
  • All communications concerning negotiations made by the Parties arising out of and in connection with this dispute resolution clause are confidential and to the extent possible, must be treated as "without prejudice" negotiations for the purpose of applicable laws of evidence.
  • Termination of Mediation: If 30 days have elapsed after the start of a mediation of the Dispute and the Dispute has not been resolved, either Party may ask the mediator to terminate the mediation and the mediator must do so.

    Venue and Jurisdiction

  • The Services offered by Venews Australia is intended to be viewed by residents of Australia. In the event of any dispute arising out of or in relation to the Application, you agree that the exclusive venue for resolving any dispute shall be in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

    Governing Law

  • The Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute, controversy, proceeding or claim of whatever nature arising out of or in any way relating to the Terms and the rights created hereby shall be governed, interpreted and construed by, under and pursuant to the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without reference to conflict of law principles, notwithstanding mandatory rules. The validity of this governing law clause is not contested. The Terms shall be binding to the benefit of the parties hereto and their successors and assigns.

    Independent Legal Advice

  • Both parties confirm and declare that the provisions of the Terms are fair and reasonable and both parties having taken the opportunity to obtain independent legal advice and declare the Terms are not against public policy on the grounds of inequality or bargaining power or general grounds of restraint of trade.

    Event Terms & Conditions

    IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: You must agree to these Terms and Conditions to purchase tickets.

    Venews Australia Pty Ltd may, without notice, invalidate any tickets that are believed to be in breach of these terms and conditions, and no refund, replacement or compensation will be offered. 

    1. This event may be subject to age restrictions. It is your responsibility to check the event page for confirmation as to any age restrictions. Please ensure you check the event tags section.
    1. No refunds or exchanges on any ticket except as required by and/or specified by law. Incorrect purchases are NOT guaranteed a refund and are at the discretion of the promoter/venue/event organiser. 
    2. Your electronic ticket is your ticket to the event and must be presented at the event entry point to gain entry. Your ticket will be delivered to the ticket section on your profile page within the Venews platform and also emailed to the email address attached to your Venews platform profile as either a PDF attachment or Passbook link once your credit card has been successfully charged. If you do not receive your ticket(s) please utilise the contact event admin link on the event page to reconcile. 
    3. At the point of entry you will/may be asked to present a legal form of identification such as, a current Australian driver's license, ’Proof of Age’ card or valid Passport.
    4. Any tickets purchased in excess of the event ticket/transaction limit may be cancelled at the discretion of Venews or the event organiser. 
    5. Each ticket price displayed in the Venews platform is the total price and includes a service fee inclusive of GST. All tickets and products listed within the Venews platform are priced in Australian dollars. 
    6. The event organiser reserves the right to withdraw, reschedule or substitute artist/s and/or vary advertised prices, event times and inclusions without notice. The event organiser reserves the right of admission and to enforce the venue entry conditions set by the venue. 
    7. Should the event be cancelled or rescheduled, you will be notified via an in app notification and in the event of cancellation, it is the responsibility of the event organiser to communicate next steps via email.
    8. If a full refund is required by law, the event organiser will assume responsibility for ensuring the total ticket amount including service fees (inclusive of GST) are refunded to the appropriate ticket holders.
    9. It is a condition of sale that tickets may not be offered for unauthorised resale, on 3rd party websites. Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes. If a ticket is used in breach of these conditions, it may be cancelled without refund and the ticket bearer may be refused admission.
    10. Venews provides this ticketing service on behalf of the event promoter/venue/event organiser.

    Venews Ticketing Terms & Conditions

    Venews Australia Pty Ltd (‘Venews’) owns and operates www.venews.app (‘Venews Website’) and Venews.app (the ‘Venews platform’). 

     

    Venews provides the Venews platform and associated software to Event Organisers so that they may list event details, set ticket inventory, sell tickets, take bookings, manage customer lists and communications and manage other event functions, using the Venews platform. Venews provides access to certain parts of the Venews platform to the general public so that they may transact and interact with the Event Organiser.

    Venews may also sell non-ticket items, including but not limited to merchandise and gift vouchers on behalf of Venews. Event Organisers and third parties ("Non-Ticket Items") and facilitates the resale or return of tickets by ticket purchasers who no longer wish to attend an event subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

    The following Terms and Conditions of Use and Purchase Policy ("these Terms") have been created to ensure you are happy with your purchase and that you fully understand the purchase process with the Event Organiser who uses the Venews platform to promote the Event Organiser's events, sell tickets, sell Non-Ticket Items, make registrations and bookings.

    General

    1. By using or visiting Venews Platform, you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms and to follow these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations governing the Venews Platform.
    2. By agreeing to these Terms, you are also agreeing to the Terms of Venews Privacy Policy. To read the Privacy Policy visit - https://venews-australia.github.io/privacy-policy.html
    3. Venews reserves the right to change these Terms at any time, effective immediately upon posting on the Venews platform. Any changes to these Terms will only apply to purchases made after these Terms have been updated. To ensure you are aware of the latest and Terms, please check this page of the Venews platform periodically which is available from every event page on the Venews platform. The latest date of issue will be posted at the top of this page.

    Permitted Use of the Venews platform

    1. You agree that you are only authorised to visit, view and to retain a copy of pages of the Venews platform for your own personal use, and that you shall not duplicate, download, publish, modify or otherwise distribute the material on this site for any purpose other than to review an event and its promotional information, for personal use, or to purchase tickets (including resale tickets) for your personal use, unless otherwise specifically authorised by Venews to do so.
    2. The content and software on this site is the property of Venews and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws

    Links and Search Results on the Venews platform

    1. The Venews platform may include links posted by the Event Organiser or automatically produce search results that reference or link to third party sites throughout the internet. To the extent permitted by law, where Venews has no control over these web sites or the content contained within them, Venews cannot and does not guarantee, represent or warrant that the content contained in third party websites is accurate, legal and/or inoffensive.
    2. Venews does not endorse the content of any third-party site which Venews does not control, nor do we warrant that such third party site will not contain viruses or otherwise impact your computer in a harmful or damaging way. By using the Venews platform to search for or link to another site, you agree and understand that you may not make any claim against Venews for any damages or losses, whatsoever, resulting from your use of Venews platform to obtain search results from, or to link to, another site. If you have a problem with a link from the Venews platform, please notify us at support@venewsapp.com and we will investigate the problem you describe in your email and take actions that we deem are appropriate in our sole discretion (acting reasonably).

    Your Venews Profile

    1. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your username and password (or applicable login details) for all activity that occurs on your account (other than activity that occurs through no fault of your own as a result of any act or omission by us). You shall not permit anyone other than you to use your account. If you become aware or suspect that anyone knows your username and/or password, you should promptly contact us.
    2. You must not create or use multiple accounts with the purpose or intention of circumventing any of these Terms or concealing your identity or other personal details.

    Unauthorised Use of the Venews platform

    1. Illegal and/or unauthorised uses of Venews platform, whether for unauthorised ticket sales, unauthorised framing of or linking to the Venews platform will be investigated by Venews, and Venews may take appropriate legal action in respect of any such illegal and/or unauthorised uses of the Venews platform reasonably suspected by Venews.
    2. You are prohibited from using any software, bots or other technology to circumvent the security, ticket limits or services on the Venews platform. There may also be legislation in the territory or state where your event is located which prohibits the use of any software that is used to circumvent the security measures of the Venews platform. The penalties for infringing this legislation can be significant and any such activity will be considered a breach of these Terms.

    Violation of these Terms and Conditions

    1. If you violate these Terms including if you post or provide User Content which violates these Terms or has violated the rights of Venews, any other User or the law, Venews may terminate your use of Venews platform, prevent you from making all future bookings using Venews platform, and/or take legal action against you. Where this occurs, Venews will provide you with reasonable prior written notice that this will be implemented, together with reasons for that action being taken. If you wish to dispute that decision of Venews you have 5 days within Venews providing its notice to you to do so and Venews will act reasonably in considering your response.
    2. If you materially violate these Terms (which includes any breach of the ‘Unauthorised Use of the Venews platform’ section or ‘Venews Copyright & Defamation Policy section in addition to the Violation of these Terms and Conditions section clause 1., Venews may cancel your ticket orders in which case Venews will provide you with written notice of that cancellation together with reasons for that cancellation.
    3. You agree that monetary damages may not provide a sufficient remedy to Venews for violations of these Terms and you consent to injunctive or other equitable relief for such violations.
    4. Venews may release user information about you if required by law or subpoena, or if the information is necessary or appropriate to release to address an unlawful or harmful activity. This is in addition to any other uses permitted under our Privacy Policy.
    5. Venews is not required to provide any refund to you if you are terminated as a user because you have violated these Terms, except as expressly set out in these Terms or otherwise required by law.

    Venews Copyright & Defamation Policy

    1. You may only submit content to the Venews platform ("User Content") where you have the rights to do so. In particular, you:

    Disclaimers

    1. Venews does not by these Terms (including ‘Disclaimers’ section) exclude any rights and remedies in respect of goods or services under the Australian Consumer Law (where your event is located in Australia) and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or equivalent state or territory legislation which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. However, Venews excludes all rights, remedies, conditions and warranties in respect of goods or services from your use of this site and Venews platform whether based in statute, common law or otherwise to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent possible, the following paragraphs of this ‘Disclaimers’ section will apply.
    2. Venews does not promise that the Venews platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, nor that it will provide specific results from use of the Venews platform or any content, search or link on it.
    3. the Venews platform and its content are delivered on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
    4. Venews cannot ensure that files you download from the Venews platform will be free of viruses or contamination or destructive features although Venews will take steps consistent with industry practice to protect against this occurring.
    5. Venews will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of Venews platform, including without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, and punitive and consequential damages.
    6. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Venews makes no guarantee of any specific result from use of the Venews platform or use of Venews service.
    7. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Venews disclaims any and all liability for the acts, omissions and conduct of any third party users, Venews users, advertisers and/or sponsors on the Venews platform or otherwise related to your use of the Venews. Venews is not responsible for the products, services, actions or failure to act of any venue, performer, promoter or other third party in connection with or referenced on the Venews platform.
    8. Without limiting the other provisions of this clause 8, you may report the misconduct of users and/or third party advertisers, service and/or product providers referenced on or included in the Venews platform to Venews at support@venewsapp.com. Venews may investigate the claim and take appropriate action, in its sole discretion.

    Age Restrictions and Proof of Identity

    1. Events may be subject to age restrictions. It is your responsibility to check the event page for confirmation as to any age restrictions. Please ensure you check the event tags section.
    2. At the point of entry for an event, to obtain admission, you may be required for compliance with licensing regulations and/or under the event specific terms to present your ticket and a matching legal form of identification, (e.g. a current Australian driver's licence or State Approved 'Proof Of Age' card or a valid Passport).
    3. If the event is classified as an 18+ event: you will be required to present a legal form of photo ID (as described above) at the event entry.
    4. If the event is classified as an under 18 event: you are not allowed to attend if you are over the age of 18 years. You will be required to provide valid photo ID (as described above) at the event entry to show that you are under 18 years of age.
    5. If the event is classified as all ages: please note that the event may be unlicensed, or if it is licensed, you will be required to present a valid photo ID (as described above) to access licensed areas.

    Exchanges, Refunds

    1. Before purchasing tickets carefully review your event and ticket selection, no refunds or exchanges will be available on any purchase except as required by law. Refunds for a change of mind or mistaken purchase by you are NOT guaranteed and are at the discretion of the promoter/venue/event organiser.
    2. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, modify or limit the operation of the Australian Consumer Law (including the consumer guarantees contained therein) with respect to refunds.

    Ticket Limits

    1. When purchasing tickets on Venews, you are limited to a maximum number of tickets per transaction. Any tickets purchased in excess of the event ticket/transaction limit specified in the ticket selection boxes on the event page in the Venews Platform, may be cancelled at the discretion of Venews or the Event Organiser.

    Pricing and Ticket Availability

    1. Venews sells tickets and Non-Ticket Items on behalf of Event Organisers and other third parties which means Venews does not determine the ticket prices. Each ticket price displayed on the Venews platform is the total price and includes a service fee inclusive of GST. All tickets and products listed within the Venews platform are priced in Australian dollars. 
    2. Event Organisers may change prices at any time before purchases of tickets or Non-Ticket Items are made. Prices may vary for different ticket allocations, for promotions, special offers for presale customers, and Event Organisers may adopt a flexible pricing model and adjust prices to reflect demand at any time. Unless required by applicable law, you will not be entitled to a refund or credit if (i) the price you paid for a ticket was at any time before you purchased your ticket less than the price you paid; or (ii) the price of any other ticket to the relevant event (whether in the same location or price category or otherwise) is subsequently reduced after you purchase your ticket.

    Delivery of tickets

    1. The following delivery options will be offered for your ticket order through the Venews platform.

    If you have not received your ticket(s) within 48 hours of the event and your payment for such ticket(s) has been processed, please utilise the contact event admin link on the event page on which you attempted to purchase the ticket(s) in order to start the reconciliation process.

    1. Venews may offer you the option to add digital tickets delivered by email to ticket wallet applications via mobile phones, tablets and other devices.

    Cancelled Events

    1. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the Event Organiser due to weather conditions or situations affecting the staff, audience or artist. When this occurs, the Event Organiser will make every effort to ensure you receive a prompt refund and/or exchange if applicable.
    2. If an event is cancelled or postponed, refunds will be determined by the Event Organiser. If a refund has been confirmed by Venews or the Event Organiser then the following refund methods will apply:
      • Venews will arrange for the Event Organiser to refund to the credit card used for purchase within 30 days of notifying you that a refund for this event applies.
    3. Venews takes no responsibility for tickets not purchased through the Venews platform. Should the event be cancelled or rescheduled, Venews will contact you via your nominated email address. It is your responsibility to keep your contact details up to date.

    Scalping

    1. Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes. If a ticket is used in breach of this condition, it may be cancelled without refund and the ticket bearer may be refused admission.
    2. The validity of any ticket offered for resale on 3rd party websites such as Viagogo, Facebook, Ebay or Gumtree cannot be guaranteed.

    Other terms

    1. Event Organisers may reserve the following rights:
      • Latecomers to an event may not be admitted until a suitable break in the event.
      • Opening acts or guests may sometimes tour with headlining performers. These opening acts are subject to change or cancellation at any time without notice. Ticket holders will not be entitled to a refund if an opening act is changed or cancelled.
    2. Event Organisers generally reserve the right to add, withdraw or substitute such artists and vary advertised programs or set lists, seating arrangements and audience capacities.
    3. Event Organisers may be required by, or reasonably decide as a result of, Government directions, orders or regulations to reduce the number of persons who may attend an event, change your seating allocation, change any standing or seating configurations for attendance at the event, or change the entry requirements for the event to reflect updates to Government directions.
    4. Unless required by applicable law, refunds will not be required as a result of the use of understudies in theatre performances; adverse weather conditions; changes of any supporting act; changes to individual members of a band; changes to the line-up of any multi-performer event (such as a festival), curtailment of the event where the majority of an event is performed in full; and delays to the starting of the performance of an event and changes to seating arrangements, entry requirements and audience capacities. (other than where a change in audience capacity results in the cancellation of your ticket).

    Severance

  • If any part of these Terms is found to be void or unenforceable by a Court of competent jurisdiction, that part shall be severed and the rest of the Terms shall remain in force.
